RF-4C Phantom II 1:72 Scale Model Kit

Derived from the famous twin-engine fighter McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, the RF-4C was a tactical reconnaissance aircraft specifically developed to carry out observation and intelligence-gathering missions, even in challenging flight conditions over hostile territory.

Compared to fighter variants of the Phantom II, the RF-4C was easily distinguished by its redesigned forward fuselage section, which housed advanced photographic and terrain-scanning equipment. These systems enabled the aircraft to gather vital intelligence while maintaining the impressive performance characteristics of the Phantom platform.

The RF-4C saw extensive operational use during the Vietnam War and underwent continuous upgrades to its avionics, photographic systems, and data-gathering capabilities throughout its service life.
